Additionally, during the evaluation of the relevant requests, additional information may be requested from the applicant to verify the application and ensure personal data security. To Whom and For What Purposes Can Your Personal Data Be Transferred?
Your personal data may be transferred to third parties in case of explicit consent of the user or if the conditions specified in the second paragraph of Article 5 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data are met, as specified in Article 8 of the Law. Additionally, if requested, it may be shared with authorized public institutions and organizations by fulfilling the conditions required by the legislation and taking all legal and technical measures for the protection of your personal data. If the above-mentioned conditions are met and data transfer is made, the Institution requests assurance that the third party has taken all necessary technical and administrative measures to protect the data. Under no other circumstances are your personal data transferred by the Institution to third parties or abroad for any purpose.
How Long Will Your Personal Data Be Stored?
Your personal data will be stored until the reasons requiring processing cease to exist and/or for the period required by relevant legislation, as specified in Article 7 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data. Our data is stored and processed in accordance with the criteria determined within the framework of the "Personal Data Retention and Disposal Policy" in which we determine retention periods specific to personal data categories. When the specified periods expire, personal data is deleted, anonymized, or destroyed.

Additionally, based on the provision in Article 6 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data: "Personal data other than health and sexual life may be processed without seeking explicit consent of the data subject in cases provided for by laws. Personal data related to health and sexual life may only be processed without seeking explicit consent of the data subject by persons under the obligation of secrecy or authorized institutions and organizations for the purposes of protection of public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and management of health services and their financing.", biometric and genetic data, and all kinds of information related to physical or mental health are collected and processed only by laboratory personnel under the obligation of secrecy in accordance with the Fundamental Law on Health Services No. 3359 and the Regulation on Medical Laboratories for the purposes of preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, and planning of health services and their financing. Special categories of personal data are processed by taking the measures determined by the Personal Data Protection Board and specified in the Regulation on Personal Health Data.
Your personal data by categories below; are collected through patient consent forms, test request forms, the Institution's website (http://www.ena-lab.com/), CCTV camera system, call center, and other information and documents submitted by the patient, as well as through verbal, written, and electronic means.
Personal data collected by the Institution or provided by patients, as well as special categories of personal data, are processed and stored in a proportionate manner for the purposes specified below by categories, with all kinds of technical and administrative protection measures taken.
Your personal data will be stored until the reasons requiring processing cease to exist and for the period required by relevant legislation, as specified in Article 7 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data. Data is stored and processed in accordance with the criteria determined within the framework of the Personal Data Retention and Disposal Policy in which we determine retention periods specific to personal data categories. Personal data may be transferred to business partners (private insurance companies, banks, financial advisors, legal unit, etc.) and authorized public institutions and organizations (Ministry of Health and related units, Social Security Institution, General Directorate of Security, etc.) without explicit consent if the patient's explicit consent exists or if the conditions specified in the second paragraph of Article 5 are met, as specified in Article 8 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Special categories of personal data (Biometric Data, Genetic Data, and Health Data) may be transferred only to persons under the obligation of secrecy or authorized institutions and organizations for the purposes of protection of public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, and planning and management of health services and their financing, provided that adequate measures are taken as specified in Article 8.
Under no other circumstances are your personal data transferred by the Institution to third parties or abroad for any purpose. Additionally, if the above-mentioned conditions are met and data transfer is made, the Institution requests assurance that the third parties have taken all necessary technical and administrative measures to protect the data.
